painting of a bay with trash on the stony beach

It Ends Up In My River

Every spring the Alice Fergusen Foundation holds a watershed-wide Potomac River Cleanup. In 3 hours volunteers collect tons and tons of trash, mostly lightweight plastics, all up and down the river and its tributaries. Within a few weeks it’s as if they never were there – the beach is littered with plastic trash again. They began to tally brand names found most frequently and then contact these companies to urge them to use more environmentally friendly packaging and try to influence their buyers to stop littering.

I only put a few pieces of trash on this beach. Can you find them and identify the brands?
